Three days of relaxation!

My mom and I spent three days on the Oregon coast at what we call "The Lot." We went to Manzanita and toured all the shops. Then we got ice cream cones and took them to the beach one block away. When we got to the beach we both had ice cream dripping down our hands. They were so big we couldn't keep up with them. We were laughing at each other so hard, it was very funny! The weather was beautiful, but it was too windy at the beach, so we went back to the lot and read books, played games, and ate! We had a great time, thanks Mom!!

I walked to the boat launch today and this is what I saw. Love the way the clouds are "resting" on the mountain.

The three houses that I want! When I was about 9 yrs old my older brother, John, took my younger brother, Dennis, and I for a boat ride. He dropped us off on this spot (before houses were there) and he told us it was an island and he left us there! I started crying and Dennis started making a shelter. We didn't realize at the time that the highway was right behind us!! He took us to the tackle store and bought us Hershey Bars so we wouldn't tell on him.... and it worked!

Birthday Boys

Spencer & Matty got home last night from kayaking and camping the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. They had a great time and they worked really hard, I think they paddled 30 miles all together. We thought they could use some all you can eat pizza and video games, so we took them to Stonefire Pizza Co to celebrate their birthdays. We had a great time!

This is the cover for Spencer's Eagle Project write-up. He turned it in last week and hopefully the only call he gets is to set up his Board of Review! I think a rewrite would do him in! I wanted to cry looking through all this old Cub Scout pictures. It doesn't seem that long ago!!

Almost there....

Now that I have the layout I like (thanks to Lynn)! How do I change the colors of my header, text, etc.? I totally forgot how this thing works! ☺

What happened to my templete?

So I thought that since it's been over a year since I posted anything, I'd go for it today. But what happened to my background? I looked over the new templetes and I really don't like them. What to do??
